  • BARISTA & GENERAL CATERING ASSISTANT

    The Role

    We are looking to appoint a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to work in our brand new Sixth Form cafe. Our cafe is the hub of student life at our Sixth Form and as a Barista, you'll be the heart of our cafe service, crafting delicious drinks and engaging with customers to create a welcoming experience.

    This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm. term time plus 10 days. Starting date 24th February 2025.

     

    Salary

    £22k - £25k

  • TEACHER OF DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY

    The Role

    We are looking for a passionate, talented and rigorous practitioner to join our dedicated Design Technology team as we continue on our exciting journey with our new  Sixth Form provision.
    The successful candidate will have the exciting and unique opportunity to work with a KS3, KS4 and KS5 curriculum that is bespoke, challenging and fit for the needs of 21st Century life.  
    As a department, we are offering four Key Stage 5 courses:

    • Product Design A-Level AQA
    • Design Engineering A-Level OCR
    • Fashion and Textiles A-Level AQA
    • Food Science and Nutrition WJEC Level 3 Applied Diploma

    There has been significant investment in the new Sixth form; the Design Technology Department now has brand new metalwork and electronics facilities, as well as a new textiles classroom to support the growth of the department and complement the existing suite of Design and Technology facilities.
    We are looking for an inspirational teacher with a proven track record of leading students to achieve outstanding results, who embraces creativity, innovation and is always looking for the very best practice in teaching.  They will share the School's vision and the belief that all young people can achieve at high levels.

  • TEACHER OF DRAMA AND ENGLISH - MATERNITY COVER

    The Role

    We are looking for a passionate, talented and rigorous Drama and English teacher to join our dedicated faculty in helping the School as we continue on our exciting journey with our new Sixth Form provision. 
    We are looking for an inspirational teacher who embraces creativity, innovation and is always looking for the very best practice in teaching. They will share the School's vision and the belief that all young people can achieve at high levels. 
    All students will take English Literature and English Language at GCSE and all students in years 7-11 have five hours of English a week. We currently offer both English Literature, and Combined English Literature and Language A-levels. 
    Drama is a popular subject at GCSE with excellent academic results and is well profiled across the school through a range of extra curricular activities. The right candidate will want to lead and take initiative in the running and supporting of these activities. Alongside teaching highly creative lessons with a drive to delivering Drama and Theatre at A Level.
