Hoe Valley School Announces Opening Site

Penny Alford

We are excited to be able to announce our confirmed plans for where the school will open this September. Agreement has been reached to build an interim campus within the grounds of Woking’s main leisure centre. The location of our opening site is ideally located in south Woking.  It is easy to access for parents and children – we hope that many local children will walk or cycle to school.  The premises will be built on a dedicated section of the current car park area in such a way as to provide a safe and secure premises comprising classroom, administrative and playground space. Hoe Valley School will also have access to the extensive leisure centre facilities to provide additional spaces and support the delivery of the rich curriculum. For more information please see our Location Page.

In other news, the team is expanding and detailed planning is well underway now for our first year group. Our School Business Manager joins our team in early March. We will also be busy in February interviewing candidates for the Deputy Head role, for which we have had an incredible level of interest – and that means we can be extremely discerning in our choice to ensure we secure the very best candidate. February will bring further site-related news with the announcement of our permanent site, where the school will move to for September 2017.

Whilst we are delighted to announce that we are now oversubscribed, you can still apply for places at Hoe Valley. Our application window officially closes on the 31st January – an application after this date would be considered a late application and be placed on our waiting list. If you haven’t already, sign up to our newsletter to be kept up to date with future developments.
