GCSE Results Summer 2024

Hoe Valley School celebrates yet another set of excellent GCSE results with 27% of students achieving grade 9-7, 62% grade 9-5 and 75% grade 9-4. We are excited to be enrolling many of our students into our new Sixth Form today as well as being open to external students.

Mrs Jane Davies, Head Teacher of Hoe Valley School, commented, “Yet again, our students have performed brilliantly and it is all down to their hard work and determination to succeed. I am very grateful to all of our talented teachers and supportive parents and carers who have paved the path for our students’ success. It has been a pleasure working with this cohort and I have no doubt they will continue to succeed in their post-16 education, be that at college or or here at Hoe Valley Sixth Form! ”

A Level Results Summer 2024

It feels like it was only yesterday we opened our doors to begin delivering A levels at Hoe Valley Sixth Form and just as quickly as those doors were opened, we’ve already begun to see our first set of A level results come through.

Over half of all A level grades awarded were A*-B (55%). Perhaps most pleasingly is the A*-C, which saw Hoe Valley pupils achieve 91%, compared to early reports of the national average of 76%.

Naturally we’re immensely proud of our first small cohort’s set of results. We’re also very pleased to report that all of our students are going off to prestigious universities, all thanks to both their hard work and the endeavours of some of our amazing teachers at Hoe Valley.

Mrs. Davies (Headteacher) commented,

“Hoe Valley has, and always will be a school built for the local community and these results reflect what this community is truly capable of. I’d like to thank not only the students and teachers, but our parents & carers as well who have supported us and these amazing young people”.

Again, a huge congratulations to our A level students for their incredible efforts and thank you from all of us at Hoe Valley School and Sixth Form, for being brave enough to join us in our first year of A levels.
